Benefits From The Heart
Louis Glickfield and Marlo Furniture established Benefits From The Heart, the Marlo Furniture Employee Benefits program, which makes available salary advances, profit sharing, 401(k), educational assistance, health care, life insurance and extended illness benefits to the Company's employees. It's real test of sincerity came when an unscrupulous money manager stole over $1,000,000 in funds from the employee profit sharing plan, jeopardizing a great portion of employees' life savings. Mr. Glickfield personally replaced the money from his own savings.
